Kim and Kathy at Oak Island with Walt and Ray
Kim and Kathy began their experience breeding Golden Retrievers back in 1998. After a few litters they became busy with jobs and kid activities and decided to take a long break from dog breeding. With grown children and grandchildren now available for puppy nurturing they decided it was time to re-enter the breeding world. As much as they adored their precious Goldens, the extra hair and some family members with sensitivities lead them to seek a more allergy friendly breed. The doodles were the perfect choice. After a few years they decided to try some hypo-allergenic small breeds and that has been a joyful and pretty entertaining experience. Kim and Kathy never knew how fun the smaller breeds could be. Kathy retired in 2015 after practicing as a Pediatric nurse for 30 years. She has become quite comfortable with transferring some of her expertise to the care and nurturing of her canine wards. As of 2020 they have cut way back and many of their parent dogs are enjoying retirement with Kathy. Thanks to all the wonderful new puppy families who have helped make this a delightful adventure.

Lets examine the dogs mind: Every time you come home, he thinks its amazing. He can't believe that you've accomplished this again. You walk in the door. The joy of it almost kills him. "He's back again! It's that guy! It's that guy!" -Jerry Seinfeld
